President & CEO
With a background in Architecture and over 20 years experience in construction, Davood continues to build a remarkable legacy in the general contracting world. Working for the City of Vancouver for over 8 years has helped Davood function on multiple levels by gaining knowledge of building codes and zoning bylaws. Alongside his extensive experience and meticulous attention to detail, clients are confident in his ability to deliver what he promises.
Under the watchful eye of his father, Richard started working as an apprentice at the age of 16. Working in his father’s business has shaped Richard’s business minded character. Starting from the ground up resulted in Richard becoming the President of David Mitchell Co. His millwork experience of 30 years has given him an edge in being detail oriented and mindful of unforeseen challenges. Richard’s years of experience from the ground up has given him the advantage in finding cost effective solutions.
VP of Development & Operations
Every office needs a skillful individual to handle the toughest challenges when it comes to organization, communication and on-time delivery of projects. Shahram is a perfect example of an individual that harnesses his years of experience and delivers exceptional efficiency and management of operations. His involvement in Business Development further streamlines office procedures and ensures no detail is lost in translation.
Foreman / Super Intendant
Tom has been a vital member of the DM team for over 30 years. His hard work and dedication is unmatched by anyone. His character and personality is contagious. Clients, designers and any crew on site always remember Tom and how great he is to work with. Outside of work he is a family man, raised two wonderful daughters and you will see him on the local golf courses on weekends.
Site Super Intendant
Daryl is another valuable leader of the DM team. Not only is he a skilled tradesman but his ability to organize, manage projects makes him irreplaceable. Daryl brings 35 years of experience in the construction industry with the desire to do the job right and on time. Daryl has a young family, loves to golf, ski and go for bike rides whenever possible.
Marc has been with the company for over 10 years. He is the number one man in our mill workshop. Marc was trained by one of the best and that level of expertise has matured him into a valuable asset and team leader. Time and time again he has proven his capability to produce the highest quality cabinetry this company has ever produced. Marc has a three young boys that he is very proud of, and always shares pictures of fun times, and how they keep growing. Marc loves live music and enjoys the torturous Grouse Grind.
Craig started with the company in 1997. He truly represents the level of integrity , personality and work ethic every company strives for. Craig is so diversified and can fix any problem that he has earned the McGiver nickname. He loves his craft and when the day is done he goes home and creates more amazing works of art. Hunting and especially fishing are his passions which keeps him young at heart.
Carpenter & Site Assistant
Leon has been with the company for over 10 years and has worked his way up the ladder from his first days making deliveries and tearing down walls, to a 4th year carpenter apprentice. Leon has a fun loving personality and gets along with everyone he encounters. He is a key piece in the DM team and his hard work and dedication to learning will continue to raise him to new levels. Leon has a wonderful young family and is often seen at the local tennis court, one of his favorite hobbies.
Cabinet Maker & Site Assistant
Jeremy graduated in 2008 at Charles Best in Coquitlam. He knew before he finished school wood working was in his blood. Before school was over he had his first year apprenticeship under his belt. Now a journey man cabinet maker, Jeremy has demonstrated he can take on more responsibility in the shop and on site and thrives on a challenge. Jeremy built a beautiful canoe last spring and has been putting it to good use fishing.
Carpenter & Site Assistant
Jacob also graduated from Charles Best and is a journey man cabinet maker. Jacob has many qualities that make him a key to the future of David Mitchell. He is bright, hard working and humble. He observes , listens and thinks before making quick decisions. He is well liked by his peers and always gains appreciation from his conscientious work habits. The future of DM and any other company depends on the youth and Jacob is part of that. Jacob loves long mountain hikes and spending time with close friends and family.
Nataly is the jack of all trades when it comes to accounting. She not only speaks the language of numbers, she also knows how to translate accounting information into simple words. During the past 3 years of her involvement with David Mitchell Co. Nataly has been able to bring a new level of accounting efficiency to the firm that is set to carry forward for years to come.
